Ice! Ice! Baby!

Hahahahahaha!

Well then, just ICE!

Once again this year the Gaylord Texan presented ICE!, we love going.  What made it fun this year is that the whole exhibit was done referencing Dr. Seuss's, How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Bass Pro means, Free Entertainment!!!

It's taken us about a year or two to finally go visit the Bass Pro they opened near us. We'd heard that it is a world of fun for the kids, but until we found ourselves bored one Saturday we just never had ventured over there. Boy, were we in for a surprise. The kids had a blast, it was hard to get them to leave, that is until Lil C encountered the Bear!!!

Turkey Strike!

Thanksgiving 2009 was interesting.  All of the 1st graders participated in a turkey strike to save Tom the turkey.  With handmade costumes, the students marched up and down the schools main hallway with their signs and chants to save the turkey this Thanksgiving.

Reflections

The PTA had a contest titles "Reflections: What Is Beauty"

L entered in photography and art (specifically a drawing).  While I failed at taking a picture of his drawing, here are some of his photographs, one of which was entered.

He entered this one. I believe it was titled, "Green Is Beautiful".

5K Fun Run

L's school had a 5K Fun Run a couple of weeks back. Big C, L and Lil C took part in the fun.

Here's L's teacher and one of his best friends moms' who's also a teacher at his school. Look at their spirit!!!

Thrilled to pieces, this one, isn't he??? ;)

Look at this, they realize the finish line is coming up, the smiles on their faces are joyous! Then there is L, totally pooped! LOL

Falling Leaves

I just realized we have a very full weekend, once again, ahead of us. That means I better get caught up on some picture posting before I get really behind. ;)

L's last den meeting the boys experienced the beautiful Fall leaves that have begun falling.  By placing the leaves turned over under their paper and rubbing with a crayon they brought out each of the leaves lines and their shape came through

Happy Halloween

Look at these great pumpkins that the boys carved. :)

Two good lookin' guys.

Our neighbors made some spooktacular treats for the boys. Cool spider cupcakes.

The gang is ready to trick-or-treat.

Lil C really liked our neighbors house, especially this little robotic rat in a tin can thing she had on her table.

L with his headless bride...sorry this pic didn't come out clearer.

Spooky halloween house...Lil C made me drive by every day to look at it.

Scary!

Another haunted home

Witchie-poo is riding off into the night... :)
