Today marks the first day of L's 2010-2011 school year. I am so proud of my 2nd grader and so lost wondering where the heck the last 7+ years have gone.?. For crying out loud, he's halfway to getting a learners permit. YIKES!
L with his new 2nd grade teacher, Mrs Aja. She seems very nice and he is really excited about being in her class. L actually has to wear a uniform to school and the teachers wouldn't normally be dressed this casual, but this picture was taken the day before school starts when we were dropping off some supplies and she was getting things ready in her classroom.
This is the awesome reading corner in L's class. I love the tree and the couch. What a great place to lounge back and enjoy a good book. :)
